KHY – the hybrid distributor
Simple and scalable. The KHY hybrid distributor is the intelligent interface between centralised and decentralised drive technology. It simplifies the combination of different signals and supply voltages from the central drive level. The KHY acts as an intelligent interface to the decentralised drive environment. The standardised interface is designed as a module – a simple expansion of central control cabinet devices. Secures and monitors. One DC fuse for the short circuit is integrated directly into the KHY. By means of current detection it is possible to provide overload protection for the connected cables. In this way, the hybrid distributor monitors the DC link and decentralised drive train and continues to detect earth faults. The switch-off response can be configured and the switch-off thresholds can be adjusted depending on the application.

ihD-DT 5 – the synchronous servo motor with integrated inverter and hybrid cable connection
Minimal cabling effort The distinctive feature of the decentralized ihD servo inverter is its hybrid cabling concept. A single cable transmits power, STO (Safe Torque Off), 24 volts and communication in equal measure, connecting all interlinked components using the daisy-chain method. This significantly reduces installation effort. Compared to a centralized concept, it saves up to 70 percent of cabling costs. Flexible and robust The ihD is available as a standalone version or mounted on the DT motor series as the ihD-DT5. It offers the user a wide range of power ratings and a high degree of flexibility: with a rated current of eight amps, even a triple overload does not push the device to its limits. This gives the user greater freedom and flexibility when it comes to designing drive axes. Thanks to its EMC-compatible aluminum housing, enhanced protection class IP65 and resistance to shock and vibration, even harsh operating conditions are not a particular challenge for the ihD.

KE/KW – the servo drive system
Flexible. A combination of the compact power supply (KE) and the compact inverter (KW) form the servo drive system, which is rounded off by the flexible controller cards. Functional safety can be integrated as an option. Highly dynamic. The compact power supply generates the DC link and supplies the compact inverters with power. Surplus energy can be fed back into the grid or stored temporarily. Individually scalable. The main task of the compact inverters is to control the connected servo motors. In this case, an inverter can control one or more servo motors. As one power supply module is able to supply several inverters, it is possible to implement a scalable servo drive system.

DT Series – the synchronous servo motors for the high-torque positioning of larger masses and high cycle rates
Resilient The high-pole servo motors of the DT series are designed for high torques and have increased intrinsic moments of inertia. This means they can also accelerate larger loads highly dynamically without a gearbox as a direct drive, thereby increasing the productivity of the machine. Protected The magnets in the rotor are inserted and fixed by means of a plastic overmoulding. This additionally protects the magnets from dust, gases and moisture – for permanently stable magnetic values. Shortened The high-torque motors of the DT series are also available in compact form: the DTK design is shorter, so it fits where space is limited. The DTK can drive linear axes, for example.

Synchronous servo motors – highly dynamic with high power density
High dynamics and maximum power density The DIP synchronous servo motor sets a new standard in power and efficiency. With up to three times the acceleration compared to equivalent AMKmotion servo motors, it impresses with high torque and extreme speeds – delivering maximum force in minimal space. The result: more compact machines, higher energy efficiency, and greater performance in the same footprint. More power. Less space. Maximum efficiency – with the DIP. Shorter cycle times and precise motion The DIP synchronous servo motor delivers top-level repeatability and precise motion control. It reduces cycle times, optimizes process sequences, and significantly boosts your machine’s productivity. Precision, speed, and reliability – all combined in the DIP. Energy-efficient and resource-saving The DIP synchronous servo motor stands out for its exceptional energy efficiency: it requires significantly less power than comparable models to achieve the same acceleration. Thanks to its reluctance design, it delivers maximum torque without additional magnetic material – reducing the use of rare earth elements. Less energy. Fewer resources. Greater sustainability – with the DIP.

ihD - The decentralized servo inverter with hybrid cable connection
Maximum flexibility One particular highlight of the ihD is its adaptable connection technology: the input hybrid connector can be configured to face either the rear or the top, depending on the installation. In the stand-alone version of the ihD, a 300-degree rotatable plug is also available for motor and encoder connections. This makes integration into existing machine concepts much easier, saving both space and cabling.
