BET - Balluff Engineering Tool
The Balluff Engineering Tool enables manufacturer-independent, centralized configuration and management of IO-Link networks. With automatic device discovery, simplified parameterization and port setting, backup and restore functions, and integrated testing and documentation capabilities, the Balluff Engineering Tool reduces complexity, saves valuable time during planning and commissioning, and minimizes downtime risks. This makes the use of IO-Link networks not only more efficient but also safer and more transparent. The Balluff Engineering Tool is used for commissioning, configuring, managing, testing, and documenting IO-Link topologies. It is available free of charge and compatible with all IO-Link devices conforming to the IO-Link standard, including all IO-Link network modules that are JSON-for-IO-Link compatible and the Balluff IO-Link USB module.

RFID systems
Our BIS identification solutions offer you the key technology to meet the essential requirements of modern manufacturing. RFID technology allows for the unambiguous assignment and traceability of objects and products within your company. RFID systems are used to make all production steps transparent and traceable, thus forming a crucial component for fulfilling the requirements of modern manufacturing and maintaining complete control over all data. For unambiguous identification and immediate traceability, a data carrier (RFID transponder) is attached to the object to be identified, acting as a memory. The data is transmitted between the RFID transponder and the read/write head (reader) and then forwarded to the controller via the evaluation unit or an IO-Link network module. Our RFID solutions are compatible with virtually any standard controller, and the evaluation units support all frequency ranges. And that is precisely what makes RFID so special – the contactless exchange of information between the RFID transponder and the reader.

Condition Monitoring
Condition monitoring systems and their components contribute to the efficient and trouble-free operation of machines and systems. Based on the current condition, you can make well-informed decisions about the future – without having to rely on mere speculation. Disruptions in the production process due to unplanned downtime can be avoided through the use of sensors.
