At HIWIN, we create and guide motion. With our products and our mindset. Specialising in standardised and customer-specific drive technology products, we have made it our mission to find the right and most efficient way to achieve movement. Worldwide. From medical technology to photovoltaics, from machine tools to automotive and batteries: our product portfolio includes ball screws, profile rail guides, linear axes, linear motors and drive amplifiers as well as complete positioning and motion systems. With a passion for technology and attention to detail, we combine mechanics and electronics for your motion solution. Everything from a single source. Products & services

Electric actuator
Extremely flexible, powerful and compact, our electric actuators are specially designed for industrial applications. The linear drives are based on a heavy-duty, peeled ballscrew and are equipped with a robust aluminium profile with versatile end/drive blocks and grooves integrated into the profile. This enables simple, direct and flexible mounting. When it comes to the motor connection, you can choose between an inline and a parallel connection. With a stroke that can be freely selected in millimetre steps and a wide range of accessories, you can customise the electric actuators directly in our product configurator. Linear axes & linear axis systems
Transporting and positioning components with precise and dynamic linear movements. We offer a wide selection of linear axes and linear axis systems with belt, spindle, rack and pinion, or linear motor drives. Some of our linear axes are also certified for use in ISO Class 2 or Class 4 cleanrooms. Thanks to their modular design, you can easily customize the linear axes yourself using available options in our configurator and combine them into multi-axis systems. We also offer extended customization options if required. And if the right linear unit isn't among our standard offerings, we'll gladly develop a solution tailored to your specific needs. Linear guideways
Linear guideways enable linear movement with the help of rolling elements. The balls or rollers running between the block and profile rail enable endless guidance with unlimited stroke and maximum precision. Compared to a conventional sliding guide, the friction coefficient is only one fiftieth due to the relatively small contact surface of the rolling elements. The high efficiency and zero backlash make the linear guides suitable for a wide range of applications - from machine tools and the printing and packaging industry to laser machining and medical technology. We offer you a large selection of ball guides, roller guides, miniature guides and linear guides with an integrated distance measuring system and the appropriate accessories.

Ballscrews
Ballscrews, also known as ball bearing screws or recirculating ballscrews, are used in a wide range of applications across virtually all areas of industry. They convert rotary motion into linear motion. Between the shaft, more precisely the threaded shaft, and the nut, the balls roll infinitely via a ball recirculation system, guaranteeing frictionless motion for your application. HIWIN offers a huge selection of spindle drives / drive spindles along with matching accessories.

Torque motors
Torque motors are high-pole synchronous motors that do not require a downstream gearbox to reduce speed and increase torque. Due to their rigid load coupling, they are ideally suited for rotary axes with rapid load changes in machine tools or automation systems. Power is transmitted between the drive and output sides without contact, eliminating the need for mechanical components in the drive train. The result is a wear- and maintenance-free drive with maximum efficiency. For thermally stable processes, we also offer liquid-cooled torque motors. CAD data is available for download.

Precision axes KK/KF
The linear axis with ballscrew and steel profile is a compact, flexible positioning module. It is ideal in particular for applications requiring high rolling moments around the axis.

Strain wave gears
Our DATORKER® strain wave gear stand for maximum reliability, are maintenance-free throughout their entire service life, and offer reduction ratios from 50 to 160 in just one stage. They are backlash-free, compact, and guarantee maximum positioning and repeat accuracy. They also feature high efficiency, high torsional stiffness, and low starting torques—even under the toughest conditions. Whether in highly dynamic tool changers, robot axes, semiconductor and electronics manufacturing, packaging machines, or medical technology, for example in dental milling machines and surgical robots – our DATORKER® products are always used when high reduction ratios are required in confined spaces. Once installed, they operate maintenance-free over their entire service life, making them the ideal solution for demanding applications where space, accuracy, and efficiency are crucial. Whether as a proven standard solution, a customized type, or a customer-specific design, our strain wave gears always provide the right solution for your application.
