PROmesh P24+: Full-managed switch for PROFINET and EtherNet/IP
The PROmesh P24+ managed Industrial Ethernet switch supports data transmissions at speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s and is specially designed for use in industrial networks. By integrating EMC and performance monitoring, it enables continuous network monitoring and diagnostics to ensure network stability. Integrated security features such as firewall and NAT routing enable the implementation of various security concepts, e.g. in accordance with IEC 62443. With UL/CSA certification, it meets international safety standards. The equipment with SFP slots enables flexible use of copper cables or fiber optic cables. The PROFINET v2.4 certification and the extended operating temperature range underline its suitability for industrial applications. Installation is simplified by the compact design and the option of top-hat rail mounting.

Efficient commissioning with “Agent Blond” - New data source for the PLC diagnostic buffer
During commissioning, the focus is on functional and quality testing of individual system components. Under time pressure, however, unexpected and non-reproducible anomalies in PROFINET communication often occur. This is not unusual, as shown by the “bathtub curve” in the graphic below. Still, the recurring question remains: Why now, when everything has already worked flawlessly before? A high error rate at the beginning is not unique to electrical, mechanical, or network systems. It is a normal and necessary phase when transitioning a machine or plant into continuous operation and ensuring long-term availability. It only becomes problematic when this phase is unexpectedly prolonged - because device failures reappear at different points in the network over time. This is frustrating, time-consuming, and ultimately costly due to unexpected downtime.

multi purpose sensor SIEDS
The sensor, called SIEDS, is part of the CM&SM system (Condition Monitoring & Security Management System) and can measure ten important physical parameters that influence the availability of systems. The SIEDS sensor combines sensor technology, data processing and network communication in a compact and robust IP65 housing and can be used for various condition monitoring applications. It detects and analyzes environmental conditions such as temperature, pressure, humidity, air quality, acceleration and acoustics. The sensor also features intelligent alarm management, which can be adapted to different assets in the industrial environment using the teach mode. The SIEDS is ideal for applications in which different physical parameters can indicate the failure of a critical system component. This enables targeted and timely maintenance. According to Indu-Sol, experience has shown that the use of multifunctional sensors for monitoring bearings, electric motors, bearing conditions, pipe leakages and much more is particularly profitable.

PROmesh B8 compact
Compared to other manufacturers, the PROmesh B8 compact is a managed switch with 8 ports that is only half the size. The further development of the established PROmesh B8 revolutionizes the way in which industrial control cabinets can be designed. With the slogan "Smaller is better, stronger, more powerful", we are setting new standards for efficient network performance in confined spaces. The "Knirps" in the control cabinet with dimensions of 100 x 50 x 60 mm (HxWxD) offers space savings of up to 80% compared to commercially available managed switches with comparable performance. On the one hand, it creates space in every control cabinet, giving users the necessary space for the professional installation of cables and other infrastructure components. On the other hand, the PROmesh B8 compact can be installed directly, e.g. in robot arms, in inking units of printing machines, in AGV autonomous transport systems or control cabinets in extensive systems and much more. Not only its size is impressive, but also its performance: the PROmesh B8 compact scores with its performance parameters of a maximum 100 Mbit/s transmission rate, 2 Mbit memory, 6.3 Gbit/s backplane capacity and 1.6 Mpps data throughput. The PROmesh B family switch thus creates resilient network communication and therefore high system availability, while keeping the control cabinet tidy. An additional plus for the buyer: The storage medium (with the device configuration data) for quick device replacement is included in the purchase price, which means a considerable cost advantage over commercially available comparable products. The micro SD card automatically saves the last configuration status and can be easily transferred to the next device. This saves time and stress.

PROmesh P10X
Specially designed for use outside of control cabinets the PROmesh P10X high network performance and diagnostics in just one Device. Due to its IP67 classification, this industrial switch can be immediate vicinity of robots, cranes or other moving plant share are applied. Thanks to the integrated online line diagnosis, connected Data lines permanently physically monitored. Thus, worn defective or damaged data lines are detected during operation before the operation of the plant is impaired.

Fastening elements EMClots®
Measurements have demonstrated that strong meshing in the bonding system reduces the loads on the system itself and on the devices and components. This is achieved by as many short connections as possible between devices and conducting elements – the current is split up and the load is reduced. If bare conductor cables are used, the contact with metallic objects along the connection even increases this effect. The use of field-capable contact elements like the fastening elements EMClots® allows the design of efficient conductor paths (short distances, intersections, etc.) and significantly facilitates the implementation of a distributed equipotential bonding system (CBN). A variety of components can be used for connecting, fastening and branching of bare conductor cables of extra-fine wire and stranded type. Undefined interference currents are thus prevented, and uniform equipotential bonding is implemented even in long production lines. They are ideally suited for implementing small-loop low-impedance bonding systems for machines and installations using higher-frequency drive solutions (inverters) as required by EN 50310.

Network monitoring software PROmanage® NT
Gradual aging, wear and tear in the production environment and bottlenecks lead to progressive deterioration in the quality of networks. The monitoring software PROmanage® NT provides timely warning when abnormalities appear. The early warning enables you to carry out maintenance in good time, thereby minimizing breakdowns and plant outages. PROmanage® NT makes it possible for you to analyze and evaluate information on the condition of fieldbus systems and industrial networks and store it on the long haul. The information is transmitted to a central point to provide you an overview. You can leave healthy networks alone, avoiding unnecessary maintenance but taking action any time an alarm warns you of abnormalities. Integrated management of threshold values allows the user to specify the limiting values for network parameters. As soon as these threshold values are reached, an entry complete with time stamp is written automatically into the event log. Just one click is needed to retrieve network disturbances from the event log. The implemented alarm management system provides automated message forwarding. The user selects the desired medium (email, messaging services, OPC, SNMP) to transfer messages in a timely manner directly to the appropriate area of responsibility, thereby shortening action times and avoiding unnecessary plant breakdowns.

PROFIBUS tester PB-Q ONE
Plug in, measure, result – without having to struggle through numerous complex tables and diagrams. Anyone who has performed a quality analysis in an industrial network knows that quick and easy measurement results can simplify the work of the maintenance depart-ment. With this in mind, Indu-Sol have developed a multifunctional measurement tool for PROFIBUS networks which is easy to use – the PB-Q ONE. With clear displays, quality diagnosis based on the traffic-light principle and many further easy to use functions, pre knowledge and regular usage is not a pre-requisite to use the PB-Q ONE successfully. In this way, the physical condition and communication quality of the PROFIBUS networks can be evaluated reliably within seconds without great effort - in both an online and offline analysis. All in all, the PB-Q ONE is easy to use and is an especially affordable measurement device for commissioning, maintenance, support and fault-finding in PROFIBUS networks.
