IJSys – Integrated Joining System – Integrated all-in-one technology with ISO interface
The NC joining module Integrated Joining System IJSys Type 2168A... with integrated servo amplifier, strain gauge force sensor, and functional safety for a nominal joining force of 2.5 kN is particularly suitable for force-displacement-monitored assembly and joining processes. - Standardized interface according to ISO 15552 - Force sensor for precise measurement and process control - Easy installation thanks to integrated power electronics - High dynamics thanks to direct drive - Compact design The Integrated Joining System IJSys Type 2168A... electromechanical joining modules combine all the components necessary for a reliable joining process in a compact and robust housing. The ball screw drive converts the rotary motion of the integrated servomotor into linear motion, enabling standard functions such as joining to block, position and force-controlled joining, as well as movement to intermediate positions. Force measurement is performed by the strain gauge force sensor integrated in the flange, which is digitized directly in the unit. In addition to the sensor- and drive technology, the safety technology required for operation is also integrated. Safe Torque Off (STO) and a holding brake with Safe Brake Control (SBC) are available for this purpose. Correct wiring of the safety technology, a 24 VDC supply to the logic, and a 48 VDC supply to the power unit are required for operation. Communication with the joining module takes place in real time via EtherCAT. In addition to force-displacement information, control and status signals are also transmitted. In combination with maXYmos NC Type 5847C... from variant C0 onwards, all known options for process control and monitoring are available. The fieldbus slave interfaces provided enable communication with the system via PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT. The Ethernet interface can be used to transfer quality data via various protocols, as well as for visualization via VNC and data backups.

Smart Factory: software solutions for visualising and analysing measurement data
Kistler's powerful software solutions help you to visualise measurement data efficiently and analyse it professionally.

AkvisIO IME – Transparent and Validated Process Data Analysis
AkvisIO IME connects your production environment, integrates all relevant data sources, and creates a consistent, validated data foundation. Its browser-based visualization instantly highlights process deviations, while automated documentation and an audit trail ensure full traceability and compliance. This enables lasting process quality, efficiency, and data integrity.

Data analysis software jBEAM
jBEAM Durability is a comprehensive post-processing software with extensive analysis functions and the capability of visualization and report generation for the optimal evaluation of load data and supports the user during vehicle and component validation at the test stand. Due to its platform independence and multilingualism, worldwide customers in durability validation are using the software for quick analysis as well as for managing complex projects with gigabytes of data. jBEAM Durability supports the import of multiple measurement file formats common in the area as well as multimedia formats to combine your measurement data with images, audio and videos. The extensive analysis functions range from simple arithmetic operations, curve analysis and FFT calculations to matrix operations, signal filters and statistics. Thanks to the comprehensive visualization functions, which range from simple text elements, forms and tables to all kind of 2D and 3D graphs there is always a suitable format to display your measurement data and analysis results. In addition, the control elements allow you to create interactive visualizations and reports. The durability edition exclusively provides specific analysis functions like rainflow, load spectrum, amplitude transformation, range pair counting, damage accumulation and many more.

Measurement data management with MaDaM
At a time when more and more companies are setting up decentralized development centers, MaDaM gives engineers immediate access to all test data. Users can quickly and securely extract relevant content from test data for downstream analysis. Thanks to its web-based architecture, MaDaM scales from applications in individual departments to globally interconnected development centers.

Process monitoring and control system ComoNeo
ComoNeo is a process monitoring system which allows for – based on cavity pressure and mold temperatures – optimization, monitoring and documentation of injection molding processes. - Single page display of all relevant process data (Dashboard) - Assistant for creating and defining monitor boxes (EOs) automatically - Process-oriented operating concept for easy and efficient control - Automatic mold identification for rapid mold replacement and short setup times - Integrated cycle history saves at least 50000 cycles (approximately 5 days of non-stop production) - Automatic calculation of key process parameters for process stability evaluation - Restart assistant: easy transfer of established processes from one machine to another

Vision inspection solutions and sorting machines
Compliance with today's requirements for products and their manufacturing processes calls for continuous improvements to quality and efficiency. Our automated vision inspection solutions and sorting machines feature industrial image processing and help customers to achieve both goals – always with the focus on added value. Automated optical inspection means efficient 100% testing and sorting of series parts, small parts and bulk goods by automated testing systems – either in the production line, or as standalone solutions, especially for very large quantities. It can guarantee part quality and prevent bad parts – but that's not all. Test results from camera-based industrial image processing also make it possible to identify potential for optimizing production – so users benefit from extra added value. To investigate the testing tasks you set for us, we carry out a feasibility analysis in our image processing laboratory.

Fastening technology
To maximize quality and cut costs, fastening technology must be continuously monitored and tested. In virtually every sector of industry, assembly with bolts and screws is one of the most frequently used joining processes in manufacturing. It’s crucially important for bolted joints to function safely and reliably – otherwise, there will be the risk of recalls and additional costs. We offer an extensive portfolio of test and analysis systems. They analyze the functional characteristics of bolted joints (such as the coefficient of friction, preloading force or torque) and also bolting tools; they capture all the measured values and provide a clear presentation of the documented results. These systems allow targeted monitoring of tolerance limits, and they ensure that process deviations in fastening technology are detected at an early stage.

Sensor technology
The heart of every measurement solution: pressure, force, acceleration, torque or optical sensors from Kistler.

Electromechanical joining system servo assembly press
Electromechanical joining systems monitor, control and optimize joining and press-fit operations in the automotive and supply industry as well as convincing by their advantages many other industries like MedTech or white goods. The integrated force-displacement monitoring is performed by maXYmos NC in real time with a complete documentation included. Our electromechanical joining systems | servo assembly presses are your guarantee of comprehensive quality assurance and process reliability in series production. They help to make cycle times even shorter, reduce scrap and boost productivity. Special models are available on request – with strokes of up to 1,000 mm, force ranges of up to 600 kN, or angled designs – so you can be sure that the solution you receive will be an exact match for your application.
