About us
Power supplies and accessories from Kniel
Uncompromising quality, highly qualified engineering, exacting service - power supplies Kniel set standards. For your success. Founded in 1975, Helmut Kniel pursued from the outset a clear concept: specialization. By focusing on power supplies, in conjunction with one hundred percent in-house production, now as then, that degree is achieved on product quality, the power supplies Kniel has not only made legendary, but above all to a safe and sustainable investment in the future.
A philosophy which still has validity. In a time when electronic applications and components not only widespread, but have also become highly sensitive, one counts more than ever: the unconditional reliability of power supply.
We see ourselves as a manufacturer, but also as a service provider. In addition to pure standard products, we develop custom modifications or design and produce individual and highly specific solutions. Trust the Know-how and the stringent manufacturing and testing methods of a specialist in power supplies

Serie Low Emission
Low Emission 13 W to 120 W - 19" Racks and modules The sum of all advantages of linearly regulated and switching power supplies. Particularly well suited for EMC sensitive systems in sensor technology, measurement technology or image processing. Systems in which leakage currents can cause problems. Applications where a very good decoupling between primary and secondary side or secondary side and ground is required.

In addition to standard voltages (5, 12, 15, 24, 48Vdc), we can also manufacture individual voltages specifically for your application. This series is characterized by the following features: - Wide operating temperature range from -25 °C to +70 °C, without derating - Up to 20 % more power for dynamic loads thanks to Power Boost, or up to 45 °C Ambient temperature as continuous output (values in brackets in the data sheet) - 48 h burn-in test at +70 °C ambient temperature and nominal load - Optionally also available with PFS or VME signal (failure messages) - Output voltages are isolated and freely switchable, even with multiple devices (e.g +15Vdc and -15Vdc from one device, but +15Vdc and +15Vdc also possible) - Insensitive surface, as black anodized - High mechanical load capacity (vibration/shock) due to robust mechanical design with special aluminum profiles - All power supplies are adapted to the thermal conditions of the compact 19” slide-in technology

Series AC/DC-Converter 19" analog programmable
Analog programmable AC/DC converter 120 W to 360 W - 19” mechanics (type CPAU or CXWUI) The analog programmable AC/DC converters from Kniel are ideally suited for a more flexible field of application (no fixed voltages, but the need for different voltages). Analog programming can be carried out via the following control voltage: - 0 to 5 Vdc - 0 to 10 Vdc - via resistor (or potentiometer) Your advantage: The purely analog control within the power supply does not cause any resolution problems - the resolution determines your control voltage!
