About us
The SABO Elektronik GmbH was founded in 1985. Today we are active in the areas of project planning, development and production of microprocessor systems and electronic components.
In addition to our own PLM system families, we also develop systems according to customer-specific templates.
Close cooperation with our customers results in specific solutions for all areas of industrial automation, which are an important part of our field of activity.
We offer services that range from development and prototype production to series production, programming, commissioning, maintenance and worldwide customer support.

PLM 800 – Master-Terminals
The Master-Terminals of the next generation programmed in CODESYS according to IEC 61131-3 meet all requirements for controlling and regulating complex systems. The combination of powerful ARM Cortex-A9 i. MX6 Quad 4 x 800 MHz processors and state-of-the-art touch screens guarantees perfect handling of versatile applications. The master terminals of the PLM 800 system family offer different screen sizes and, depending on the system version, a front panel with decorative foil, partial glass with decorative foil strips or full glass. Each Master Terminal designed for front panel mounting or installation in plastic housings.
PLM 800 – I/O expansion
For I/O expansion, our master terminals can be directly equipped with expansion modules at the rear. Depending on the system size and number of expansion slots, one or more modules can be mounted at the rear. The expansion modules of the PLM 800 system family are available in three sizes with different functional ranges.
PLM 850 – compact control systems
The master compact systems of the system family PLM 850 are programmed in CODESYS according to IEC 61131-3 and are based on the same system architecture as our master terminals of the system family PLM 800. They are available in three sizes and are designed for mounting via a mounting plate or DIN rail. Depending on the system size and number of expansion slots, one or more expansion modules of the PLM 700 and PLM 800 system family can be mounted on the rear.
PLM 730 - modular control system
The modular control system of the PLM 730 system family consists of CAN fieldbus components designed for use in control systems with decentralized I/O nodes. All fieldbus components are designed for DIN rail mounting and are graduated in grid widths of 22. 5 mm. In addition, both the CAN bus and the supply voltage are routed via a bus strip integrated in the DIN rail. The extensive product portfolio of more than 100 different fieldbus components enables solutions with conventional I/Os through to communication with standardized fieldbus protocols typical for the industry.
PLM 760 – compact control systems
The compact control systems of the PLM 760 system family are programmed in CODESYS according to IEC 61131-3 and are designed for DIN rail mounting. The processor compact modules are available in a basic version without CAN interface or in an expandable version with CAN interface. Both system versions are also available with or without a 4,3-inch touchscreen. With its low overall height of only 66 mm, the system is predestined for installation in flat switch boxes. Our plastic housings and extensive functionalities are required in the smallest of spaces. For I/O expansion, our PLM master terminal systems can be equipped directly with expansion modules without a 4,3-inch touchscreen. The PLM master system in the expandable version with or without touchscreen also can expanded with additional compact expansion modules via the CAN interface.
