classmate CAD - Automatic classification of 3D CAD models
With classmate CAD you reduce your design effort and bring order into your parts management. The software analyzes and classifies 3D models and geometry information independently and fully automatically. classmate CAD is interesting for all companies, in which - common CAD systems such as Autodesk® Inventor®, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, PTC Creo Parametric or Siemens PLM Software NX are used, - design engineers are to be relieved, - flexible options for searching and finding existing CAD data are required and - the reuse rate of components is to be significantly increased. Fully automatic classification: classmate CAD is patented and works as a complement to existing software solutions in your company. The fully automatic geometric classification and indexing of 3D CAD models for similar part search is integrated into the existing CAD software. classmate CAD automatically fills the class-specific feature lists with the determined values and creates 2D and 3D preview formats for illustration.

Cost calculation at design stage. Up to 80 percent of the manufacturing costs of products are already determined during development. With our software, you know exactly how high these are: All geometric and topological information is taken directly from your 3D CAD model and automatically analyzed. In seconds, the software determines routings, calculates production costs and detects cost drivers at an early stage.
