SW Automatisierung GmbH
About us
SW Automatisierung GmbH stands for technological solutions that have emerged directly from practical experience in switch cabinet construction. Our company developed from a long-established business that has been planning, wiring, and commissioning complex machine controls and automation projects for mechanical engineering since the 1970s. These decades of experience continue to shape our understanding of quality, reliability, and efficiency to this day.
Dealing with the daily challenges of control cabinet construction led to an early desire to automate and optimize our own processes. As early as the 1980s, we were already working intensively with pre-assembled cables, but quickly reached the limits of external solutions. The result was an in-house development that led to our own automated wire assembly solution – precise, flexible, and exactly tailored to real wiring processes.
What began as an internal tool was developed over time into a mature product concept: the WireTerminal. Today, it is a modern solution that helps control cabinet manufacturers to automatically assemble and label wires and provide them in the correct order. The benefits are clearly measurable: fewer sources of error, greater process reliability, and a significant reduction in wiring times.
Our area of expertise covers the development, production, and continuous refinement of machines, accessories, and components for companies in the industrial sector. We combine practical perspectives from switch cabinet construction with engineering precision and a deep understanding of the requirements of modern manufacturing. All products are created with the aim of making our customers' work more efficient, economical, and reliable.
As an exhibitor, we present solutions that have been developed in response to real challenges. Our aim is to support companies of all sizes in taking the step towards automated wire assembly – with technologies that have grown out of experience and are built for practical use.

WireTerminal X3100
The WireTerminal X3100 produces pre-assembled wires for control cabinet wiring fully automatically, quickly, flexibly, and reliably. Up to 36 different wires can be processed without changeover. The wire cross-section ranges from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm². With double-crimped ferrules, the WireTerminal X3100 can achieve a cycle time of just 3 seconds. This is made possible, among other things, by the 3-station linear shuttle for simultaneous end processing. The X3100 grows with your requirements: Numerous optional processing stations expand the basic configuration as needed. These include, among other things: – 16-way crimper with Quattrocrimp tool – Ultrasonic compacting station – Quadruple servo press station for insulated, tape-mounted contacts – Ultra-short wire station for wire lengths from 90 mm – Wire marking station for up to 2 inkjet printers – Heat shrink tubing station for printed heat shrink tubing. Smart wire feed cassettes and wire rails with displays provide live updates during the process. Output is available in wire chains, wire rails, or via a wire chain bundler, which bundles wire chains with a separate, printed label.

WireTerminal C3000 Series
The WireTerminal C3000 produces prefabricated wires for control cabinet wiring fully automatically. Up to 36 different wires can be processed without retooling. Depending on the model, the wire cross-section ranges from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm². The wires are cut to length, labelled and different end processing can be carried out on both ends. With ferrules crimped onto both ends, a cycle time from 8 seconds on can be achieved. The wires can then be deposited in patented WireRails, fixated between adhesive tape one behind the other or simply dropped.

WireTerminal C1000 Series
The WireTerminals of the C1000 series produce assembled wires for control panel wiring fully automatically. Up to 12 different wires can be processed one after the other without retooling. The wire cross-section ranges from 0.5 mm² to 6 mm². The wires are cut to length, labelled and different end processing can be carried out on both ends. With ferrules crimped onto both ends, a cycle time from 11 seconds can be achieved. Depending on the version, the wires are dispensed into the patented WireRails or into wire chains.
