Additively manufactured robot grippers in series production save BEULCO €200,000 in 1.5 years 💥
A few weeks ago, I visited BEULCO, a multi-award-winning family business based in Attendorn, with Ferdinand Bunte.
BEULCO GmbH & Co. KG uses parallel grippers and suction cups for robotic workpiece handling and faced several challenges.
Not a gimmick, but a genuine means of production at BEULCO GmbH & Co. KG!, emphasizes Lutz Schopen.
The new additively manufactured grippers meet the requirements in 99% of applications. Some of the suction cups have already been in use for over 200,000 cycles and show no measurable wear.
