Optris Product Update of the CSvision 1M Ratio Pyrometer
Berlin, June 2025 – Optris GmbH announces a major update to its CSvision 1M two-color pyrometer, now featuring an extended range of up to 3,500 °C. This enhancement sets new standards for non-contact temperature measurement in extreme conditions, particularly in metal and ceramics production.
Designed for high-temperature applications like CVD diamond growth and laser processes, the CSvision 1M operates in the 0.8–1.1 μm spectral range, ensuring accuracy even with low emissivity or obstructions like smoke. Its motorized video sight and crosshair laser enable precise alignment, while the Brightness Reduction Filter (BRF) improves visibility on glowing objects.
With analog/digital interfaces (USB, RS485, Modbus RTU) and programmable I/O, it integrates seamlessly into industrial processes.
"The extended range opens new applications where extreme temperatures demand precision—enhancing efficiency, safety, and quality," says Torsten Czech, Head of Marketing at Optris.
