Evaluation board

Since 2-port industrial Ethernet devices are flexible and redundant and 1-port devices are suitable for simple, inexpensive and space-saving use, Hilscher also offers LFW (loadable firmware) solutions for the netX 90 as a single-endpoint communication device.

The NXHX 90-SPE evaluation board allows users to evaluate the single-endpoint function as a rapid prototyping platform for all important physical layers.

The NXHX 90-SPE evaluation board can be used directly with Hilscher's netX Studio CDT. netX Studio CDT is a free Eclipse-based IDE (Integrated Development Environment) that contains everything required to configure, develop, and debug embedded applications.

The software examples for different protocols, e.g. PROFINET IO device and EtherNet/IP adapter, contain the communication firmware as loadable firmware (LFW), which only needs to be configured and loaded by the user.
