Polyester Ex

The polyester Ex enclosure range comprises sizes of 75 x 80 x 55 mm to 405 x 400 x 120 mm. These enclosures are supplied as component-certified empty enclosures and pre-assembled as Ex e or Ex ia approved enclosures.

These robust enclosures obtain their typical black coloration thanks to the addition of graphite to the glass-fibre-reinforced polyester material.

These enclosures' high degree of protection (IP 66) makes them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. An extensive range of accessories rounds off the universal character of the polyester family of Ex enclosures.

The enclosure body consists of glass-fibre-reinforced polyester with a graphite additive. The lid and the base are screwed together by means of tethered stainless-steel screws. An offshore variant for equipping with cable glands for armoured cables is also available on request.
