When curiosity bears fruit The success story of Zimmer Group More than four decades ago, a remarkable success story began in Rheinau-Freistett, Germany: in 1980, brothers Günther and Martin Zimmer founded a small "garage company" that quickly grew into a globally recognized technology company.
