The Advantech AMAX 5000 series is a modular slice I/O system designed for compact, high‑performance control solutions based on EtherCAT. It combines edge controllers with finely scalable I/O modules for digital, analog, and temperature signals, including communication and power supply modules.
Galvanically isolated signal paths, hot‑swappable modules, and front‑side wiring simplify maintenance and system expansion during operation. The series supports deterministic real‑time communication, condition monitoring, and connectivity to higher‑level IT/IoT systems, making it ideal for flexible, cost‑optimized automation concepts.
