Robust enclosure solutions for e-car charging technology
An extensive charging infrastructure is a prerequisite for the widespread acceptance of e-cars. The robust housing solutions from ROSE Systemtechnik form the ideal basis for expanding this network: They protect the sensitive electronics in wall boxes and charging stations from wind and weather. ROSE has been developing and manufacturing electronics housings for demanding applications for more than 40 years. The product range consists of aluminium, stainless steel and polyester housings of various sizes. On request, the enclosure can be fitted with the appropriate circuit boards and fully or partially wired. The service also includes customer-specific mechanical processing of the housing and individual painting. All housings also undergo extensive IP protection class tests and environmental tests such as outdoor weathering tests or salt spray tests and climatic storage. The ESD conductivity of the housing is also tested. The majority of the housings that ROSE supplies to customers in the e-mobility sector are individually manufactured or adapted precisely to the requirements of the application. In addition, the company supports charging technology manufacturers with the CE conformity assessment of their wall boxes or charging stations. An individual profile system based on the ROSE SL 4000 control housing system (IP65) is particularly suitable for use as wall boxes or charging stations. Constructive additions such as indicator lights, reinforcements and water drains give this aluminium profile housing completely new uses.

ROSE enclosures now EAC-certified
ROSE Systemtechnik GmbH has been awarded the EAC certificate of the Eurasian Customs Union for all of its industrial enclosures. This certification confirms for these enclosures safety as a low-voltage appliance in the sense of Directive TR CU 004/2011. Customers will benefit from simplified exportation of their machinery and equipment to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. The EAC certificate is issued by Russia's TrustSert OOO accreditation body and confirms that the enclosures conform to all technical requirements of TR CU Directive 004/2011 in the states of the Eurasian Customs Union. This directive is equivalent to the European low-voltage directive 2014/35/EU, which assures that electrical equipment exhibits a high safety level. "We supply our enclosures effectively ready-for-use in the Customs Union", comments Tobias Büsching, Product Manager Industry at ROSE Systemtechnik. "This certification relieves our customers of a lot of work: they now no longer need to certify the enclosures themselves, instead we supply them with a complete package." The states of the Eurasian Customs Union are an important market for ROSE. The company supplies both mechanical engineering companies, who export their equipment to this region, and customers located there. "We market the entire bandwidth of enclosure systems in Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. For this reason, the certificate also covers the entire product range for these territories", Büsching notes.

Are you looking for a powerful drive controller with excellent control performance? One that can be configured flexibly? For individual solutions? As a stand-alone device with an integrated power supply, it is primarily designed for drive-based motion tasks. The Ethernet-based EtherCAT® and PROFINET® fieldbus systems are available as firmware-based variants. With the CiA 402 or PROFIdrive® device profiles, the SB6 can be seamlessly integrated into drive controller- or controller-based motion solutions. SB6 is available as a single-axis controller in three sizes with a nominal output current of up to 32 A. It is suitable for machines with up to four axes and low to medium power. Both linear and rotational synchronous servo motors and Lean motors can be controlled. The drive controller can also be extended by the safety standards STO and SS1 via Fail Safe over EtherCAT (FSoE) and PROFIsafe® up to PL e, category 4 (EN 13849-1). An additional safety module for control via digital inputs and outputs is also available.
